Defect lists and remedial quotes, done on the walk
When an installation fails inspection, often in the middle of a property sale, everyone wants the remedial quote yesterday. Film the defects as you walk the property and talk over the video, and the draft list and quote lines are ready to check when you get back.
What it's for, and what it isn't
It handles:
- The defect list: what's wrong, where it is and what fixes it.
- A still from the video of each defect.
- Quote lines for the remedial work.
It doesn't touch:
- The certificate of compliance or the test report. Those are prescribed documents with measured values, issued by a registered person. SightWalk issues no certificate.
What it sounds like
"Kitchen DB. No earth leakage on the plug circuits. Two breakers not labelled. Photo."
Made-up example. Your registered person checks the vocabulary and reference list.
