Your technician films the site on a phone or smart glasses and talks about what they're looking at as they go. SightWalk works through the video, writes up each finding with a still from the footage, and prepares the quote lines, or the tickets if your own team does the work. Your office checks the draft against the video and sends it out.

Most site reports still start as scribbled notes and a phone full of photos. Someone types them up after hours, tries to remember which photo belongs to which item, and phones the tech when the handwriting doesn't make sense. By the time the quote goes out, the client has often called someone else.

Film the walk
Use a phone or smart glasses and talk as you go, the way you'd explain it to the person next to you: "Aisle four, two 9 kg DCPs, both discharged, service both. Photo."

Upload the video
From site or from the office. If the signal drops, the upload simply picks up again.

Check the draft
SightWalk writes up each finding by area, with a still from the video. Your reviewer watches the few seconds behind any line they're unsure of, corrects it and signs the report off.

Send the report, then quote or log the work
The client gets a properly laid-out PDF. The checked findings become a quote in Odoo or your own system, or tickets for the team that has to fix them.
Why video beats notes and photos
A video catches the whole walk, including the things nobody thought to photograph. When the tech says "photo", SightWalk takes the sharpest frame from that moment, so nobody has to stop, juggle a phone and write things down. And when a reviewer isn't sure what was meant, they click the line and see exactly what the tech saw and heard what they said.
With smart glasses such as Ray-Ban Meta, the camera sits at eye level and both hands stay free for the ladder, the torch or the panel.
What your client receives
A clean PDF report, sorted by area, with a photo for every finding, the action needed and the standards it refers to. Every report reads the same, whichever tech did the walk.
Your people still sign it off
SightWalk prepares the draft. It doesn't inspect anything, certify anything or issue compliance certificates, and nothing reaches your client until someone on your team has checked it and put their name to it.
If the tech didn't mention something, it isn't in the report. SightWalk never fills gaps with guesses.
Where your video goes
- Your video and audio are processed on our own servers in South Africa and are never sent to an AI company.
- Only the written transcript goes to our AI provider overseas, under contract, to be sorted into report lines.
- Raw video is deleted 30 days after the report is issued unless you choose a different period, and you can delete it sooner.
Quotes and tickets go straight into your systems
If you run Odoo, the quotation is created for you against the right customer, with the report attached. Other systems connect through our API, or we build the link for you.
Not every walk ends in a quote. A factory's maintenance team, a property manager or a school's estates staff walk their own sites and fix what they find. For them each checked finding becomes a ticket or work order, sent to the right team with its photo and the moment in the video, and the report shows which findings are closed.
